HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR MATTRESS

Rotate it
Unless your mattress care instructions indicate otherwise, you may want to periodically rotate your mattress from end-to-end and flip it over, if applicable.

Cover it up
A good-quality, washable mattress cover is a must to keep your set fresh and free from stains. It also protects your mattress from dust mites and allergens and can prevent your warranty from being void due to stains.

We carry Malouf mattress protectors in several different styles to both suite your needs and your budget.

Deep breaths
If you detect a slight new product odor when you first get your new set, leave the mattress and foundation/box spring uncovered and well ventilated overnight. A breath of fresh air should do the trick.

No little monkeys on your bed
Don't let the kids jump on your mattress. Their rough-housing could damage the interior construction of your bed.

Don't get board
Never put a board between the mattress and foundation/box spring. It may enhance the sense of support for a while, but it will only make the problem worse over time. If you feel like your bed needs a board for extra support, it means it's time to get rid of it and get a new mattress.

Vacuum your mattress
The best way to care for your mattress is simply to vacuum it.
